The "Meaning of the Door" photo display

VISIT THE ART-PHOTO SHOW AT 829 FORT STREET, VICTORIA, DISPLAYING IMAGES OF FRONT DOORS, THEIR HERITAGE AND SYMBOLIC VALUES, AND HOW THEY ENHANCE THE URBAN LANDSCAPE.  FEB.18 - MAY 31st.

The front door and the path leading to it creates the zone between private and public space. The personal door and the private garden outside it preserve a domestic oasis within the crowded and shared city-space. The photo-display at Hub Community (829 Fort Street) is an evolving display of domestic doors -- people will add to it over the ncxt few weeks. All are welcome to bring their images of doorways. Even birds need a private place to retire to, with its own door:

Feel free to view or add to the show - drop in to 829 Fort Street with your own hammer
and hook, or contact orcamonth@gmail.com for opening times to assure access.
